HSV JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM

We believe in this program so strongly that every year the league donates $1 from your membership dues to assist them with their program.

What is the Junior Golf Program?

The WGA Social League proudly supports the Junior League Golf which provides youngsters with the right start to a great game—a game that lasts a lifetime.

This volunteer-run program teaches the basics of golf including rules, etiquette, proper attire, and playing fundamentals.

There is a minimum fee for the program. A scholarship program has been created  for junior participants in need of financial support.

The program is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 17.

Junior Golf is held every Wednesday and Thursday beginning in June and ending in July. A championship tournament is also held at the end of each season.

Practice is held on Wednesdays at the Magellan and Granada Golf Courses at 3:00 p.m. and play is held on Thursday at the Coronado Golf Course beginning at 9:00 a.m.

How can you help?

Junior Golf relies on volunteers in order to successfully run this worthwhile program.

This is a very rewarding program where you will be helping young people learn a game that can  be enjoyed for a lifetime.

As a special courtesy, the Social League allows volunteers
to have the early tee times every Wednesday while the junior golf program is running.
